A fishing village becomes a mural village
In June 2016, Korean and Vietnamese artists, volunteers and villagers painted the first murals on the house walls of Tam Thanh. The small fishing village became a mural village.
The paintings are not only for looking at. Each one is a slice of life: a fish, a boat, the smile of the people behind the wall.
Something new on every visit
In the years since, more murals have been painted and old ones restored, including paintings on basket boats and oars. Each visit, there is something new to find.
